If you're using Outlook and looking to seamlessly identify your survey respondents, you've come to the right place. The Nicereply Outlook Add-in specializes in automatically filling in specific placeholders in your Nicereply survey links or codes, making it possible to know who has completed your survey.

Phase 1: Placeholders in Survey Links or Codes

The initial phase of this add-in is centered around populating placeholders within Nicereply survey links or HTML codes. It acts passively to ensure that these placeholders are accurately replaced upon sending your email.


How to Use in Phase 1

  1. Install the Add-in into Outlook: Download and install the Nicereply Outlook Add-in.
  2. Find Your Survey in Nicereply: Navigate to your Nicereply application and locate the survey you wish to use.
  3. Copy Survey Link or HTML Code: For the chosen survey, copy its link or HTML code, ensuring it includes the necessary placeholders for customer identification like:For customer email use {nr_customer_email}For customer name use {nr_customer_name}
  4. Paste Link or HTML Code into Email: Insert the copied link or HTML code into the body of your email.
  5. Send the Email: Our add-in will passively ensure that the placeholders are populated correctly when you send the email.

Phase 2: API Token Authentication and Survey Insertion

The second phase integrates API token authentication, making it convenient to insert Nicereply surveys directly from Outlook and ensuring the placeholders are appropriately placed.

How to Use in Phase 2:

1. Generate API Token: Use your Nicereply application to generate an API token.

2. Authenticate: Paste this API token into the add-in to authenticate yourself.

3. View Surveys: Your available surveys will now be displayed within the add-in.

4. Insert Survey: Select a survey to insert into your email. The add-in takes care of placing the correct placeholders, so you don't have to.
